Think it was a research workshop using recycled plastic in design and architecture, initiated by Scientifica and in collaboration with Precious Plastic Cluj and Electric Castle. Together with architecture students and our interns, we developed 3 projects that explored a replicable modular unit out of recycled plastic that could generate temporary spaces. For this research our target was to develop a modular, versatile and innovative system that could be used to create spaces or objects, where the structural elements became the aesthetic. Alongside this, we hoped our project could become a good example to show recycled plastic as being valuable, functional and usable for qualitative design, not trash.
